Recommended Applications
HPU9 has excellent Newtonian rheology, flow and leveling properties, high film richness, high gloss, solvent-free stability over a wide pH range, and anti-microbial degradation properties. HPU9 can be used in combination with other types of thickeners to achieve the best balance of leveling and sagging. HPU9 has a strong binding effect with the emulsion particle surface, so it has a higher thickening efficiency for fine particle size emulsions. Surfactants can affect the associative network formed between HPU9 and the emulsion surface, which can lead to a decrease in the viscosity of the system, so care should be taken in selecting the type and amount of surfactants used, which can also affect the combination of film-forming additives and emulsions.
