HPU8 is a highly efficient rheology modifier, with the leveling effect as a supplementary thickening agent. HPU8 provides excellent rheological (flow and leveling) properties and good thickening effect through conjugation; since it is non-ionic, its thickening and rheological effects are less affected by the pH value of the system; the rheological effect is universal and the thickening effect is selective. HPU8 is not recommended to be used alone, but used together with other thickening and leveling agents as a synergistic thickener; it is suitable for various high and medium grade emulsion paints and other water-based systems that need to provide rheological properties.

Application areas

Recommended Application
Suggested dosage (wt% in total): 0.3-1.2%; this product can be added directly or diluted more than 1 times with water; increasing the temperature or adding the right amount of polar solvents such as glycol can improve the water dilution performance of the product; it is recommended that this product be added in the last step of the production process, and should be added while stirring until its addition reaches the desired effect. It does not affect the gloss and water resistance of the paint.

Packing and storage
Packed in 25kg plastic drums, keep in a cool and dry place, valid for 24 months.
